It was perfect conditions on Sunday morning in Melbourne for the last race of the 08/09 Gatorade Triathlon Series with over 2,500 people taking part in the Sprint Triathlon or Brooks Fun Tri.

Our Team Brooks athletes saved the best for last with Kris McCartney crossing the line in 3rd place which secured him his 3rd series win in 4 years - a fantastic achievement!

Madeleine Oldfield also got on the podium with second place in the women's elite series.
